Croydon striker David Green swept the board at the Trams’ Awards Night which took place at the Club House on Saturday May 13th.

Green won four awards: the Supporters Award; Management Trophy; and his teammates’ Player of the Season, in addition to the Golden Boot as the club’s top scorer, with 13 goals in the League and League Cup, with more in various Cup competitions.

Green said afterwards that he was “really proud to have been awarded the Management Player of the Year, Supporters’ Player of the Year, and Players’ Player, as well as the Golden Boot. Season of highs and lows but such an enjoyable club to be a part of! Next season is about winning the league.”

A new award was also presented in memory of the late former club President. The Andy Hillburn Fair Play Award went to Croydon goalkeeper Tiwa Fujamade. Afterwards, Fujamade said “What an honour to be the first person to win this award in memory of such a club legend.”
