MATCH REPORT 26th November – AFC Whyteleafe 2 – 2 Croydon FC

AFC WHYTELEAFE 2 - 2 CROYDON FC   Despite a bus strike and problems with the trains, that didn't stop 265 fans watching the local derby at Church Road!! With Lauris Chin and Uli Fischer injured, Croydon manager Liam Giles line up included Richard 'RJ' Pingling who was last year's top scorer and a fans favourite. On twenty-four, Chin was fouled on the right and Omarr Belhaj-Farsi sent the ball to...

MATCH REPORT 12th November – Lydd Town 1 – 5 Croydon FC

LYDD TOWN 1 - 5 CROYDON FC   When a team in the play-off positions meets one struggling in the nether regions, you might well expect such a scoreline. But not the result which, overall, was well deserved. And conditions on Romney March were benign, with barely a flag fluttering. Croydon's line-up was a mixture of old and new, partly due to injury and the style was slightly different, more in your face and trying to influence matters rather than let the opposition have a freer reign. Lydd...
